Geremie Camara, Vice President at Sony Pictures Television Networks Games, is an innovator in the entertainment and gaming industries with more than 15 years of experience developing successful games and platforms in the space.
In Camara’s role, he leads strategy, product, marketing, business development, and operations for the games publishing business across Sony’s extensive TV and film library.
In his first 18 months at Sony, Camara successfully built a prolific and profitable business, green lighting a slate of over a dozen new titles into production. He also led the group’s pivot into the free to play category, launching several mobile games in the top 50 Games including the highly addictive Smurfs Bubble Story and Jeopardy! World Tour hosted by the iconic Alex Trebek. “Under his leadership, the group has also expanded gaming into new platforms, including the Jeopardy! Amazon Alexa Skill, one of the most popular Skills on Alexa. This innovative game enables users to play America’s Favorite Quiz ShowⓇ in a voice activated experience.
Recently, Camara spearheaded the development and patent of the PlayShow platform, an entirely new entertainment category that brilliantly braids together three of the leading consumer touchpoints in entertainment: streaming video, voice recognition and casual gameplay. PlayShow is slated to launch early Q1 2018 with support from some of the world's leading tech companies, including Apple, Amazon, Google and Microsoft.
