Michael Abrams is Senior Vice President, Innovation for The Walt Disney Company. In his role, Abrams leads the team focused on identifying and incubating innovative new businesses, and spearheads Disney’s engagement with the startup community through initiatives including the Disney Accelerator, a leading investment and mentorship program for entertainment technology entrepreneurs.
Prior to joining The Walt Disney Company, Abrams served as President, Digital Ventures for Live Nation Entertainment where he was responsible for evaluating, incubating, investing in and acquiring global entertainment technology businesses. Prior to Live Nation, Abrams held senior leadership positions at Clear Channel Communications, Lollapalooza (acquired by C3 Presents/Live Nation) and Cinebase (acquired by Corbis), and co-founded Information Technologies Unlimited (acquired by Physicians Online) and Enigma Digital (acquired by Clear Channel).
