As COO of the industry’s largest independent music distributor, Colleen oversees the company’s core business activities across The Orchard’s 30 offices globally. Focused on delivering transparency, control, scale and strategic marketing driven by real time consumer insights, The Orchard is the global leader in music distribution and label and artist services as is a top 10 ranked MCN. The company represents labels such as Red Bull Records, Som Livre, Thirty Tigers, Daptone, Metal Blade, Pop Art, Cherry Red and Codiscos, as well as artists including BTS, Daddy Yankee, Joey BadA$$, G Herbo, Jorja Smith, Kelsea Ballerini and RuPaul, among others.
Prior to The Orchard, Colleen was based in London as Senior Vice President, International of ADA Global. She spent 12 years overseas, relocating from New York for her international marketing role with Rykodisc and Palm Pictures. Colleen got her start in the music industry in Elektra Records’ international department. Prior to music, Colleen worked in PR, produced cable TV content, and represented modern art painters and photographers. A bilingual native of Texas who also spent time living in Madrid, she is the proud owner of a ridiculously huge and eclectic record collection (with a particular focus on the New Wave era) as well as a tattered and tattooed passport, having traveled to some countries no longer found on modern maps in the pursuit of music.
