Julie Shumaker has spent her career building businesses in lifestyle media with best of breed interactive technology, community and commerce.
She currently serves as VP, Business Development of Advertising for Unity Technologies. Prior to joining Unity in 2016, Julie was VP of Global Sales at Zynga, where she delivered brand engagement at scale. Earlier in her career, she was senior vice president/GM of Media at RockYou, SVP of Sales & Marketing at 4INFO, and GM and head of sales with Double Fusion, Inc. Before Double Fusion she led the advertising sales organization for Electronic Arts (EA) where she pioneered the ad industry’s first video game deals, including retail, casual online, subscription based and mmo gaming segments. Julie has also worked with Yahoo and Quokka Sports.
She was named to THE AD AGE 2005 WOMEN TO WATCH REPORT: Twenty-Five Executives Who Made a Difference, and by Digital Media Wire as a top “25 Executive to Watch in Digital Entertainment."
