As a native from New York, in his tender years, Ray acquired a unique understanding of being in a metropolis melting pot. Entering into the Corporate World may have been a challenge for a young Puerto Rican kid, Ray however was able to combine his street savvy take and his book knowledge from Valley Forge Military Academy Wayne PA and formal education from Marymount Manhattan College to create his own marketing company Padrino Media Group Inc. After finding his true calling, he began to promote and market his own parties in the New York area. Being very ambitious and stepping outside of the box lead Ray to coming up with a creative marketing style that garnered him the position he now currently holds at Sony Music as Director of Urban Latin Division. Working with top selling platinum recording artist like Aventura, Wisin Y Yandel, Tego Calderon, Julio Voltio, Bad Bunny, Ozuna, J Balvin, Farruko, Karol G, Becky G, Natti Natasha, Anuel AA, Diddy, Beyonce, Rihanna, Cardi B, Fat Joe, Eminem, Lil Wayne, Drake, Ice T, Rakim, Dj's "Heavy Hitters, all the top “EDM DJ’s”, and TV/radio personality L- Boogs. Culminating the essence of living the American Dream Ray was also a part of producing an event along with Jay-Z for the Presidential Inauguration ceremonies, & “Gone But Not Forgotten concert”. In 2000 Ray Annes began Ad sales for the Recording Academy’s “Grammy Book". Ray Annes has also put together different AD campaigns for various companies such as Sprint, Verizon, American Express, Vitamin Water, Red Bull, AOL, Coca-cola, Ciroc Vodka and Atari.
Ray Annes continues his career with Sony Music and in addition to his career Ray also puts events together in New York, Miami, Vegas, L. A. Puerto Rico, Greece, Ibiza Spain, Mexico and the Dominican Republic, as a way to use his idea of Alternative Media Integrated services together under one roof. This consist of building brand advocate networks, offline and online, to drive market share and profitability for the clients.
