Joshua Kaplan is CEO of Stemit. The Company has developed a methodology to efficiently create stems from digital multi-tracks using its Stemforce of mix engineers and through the stereo masters using Ai/ML. The Company is also developing a SaaS application, Maverick, which will allow for the management of stem assets so that stems are properly stored, protected and identified.
Mr. Kaplan spent the past 20 years working in the technology industry. He started his career as personal computer analyst with Gartner. He worked for the investment bank Robertson, Stephens & Company in San Francisco and founded intouch group, the first multi-media kiosk company for in-store music sampling. Mr. Kaplan holds two patents in the music industry. He has been an industry speaker at Gartner, Stanford, UC Berkeley’s Haas School of Business, Kellogg School of Management and the Federal Trade Commission/DOJ. Mr. Kaplan attended the University of Michigan.
