Nick Weir-Williams is Director of Strategic Partnerships at Ingenta plc, a leading provider of software solutions and services for the publishing and media industries.
He has more than forty years of experience in the publishing industry across three continents and has been in the US for the last twenty five years, working in Chicago, New York and is now based in New Jersey. He has worked for start-ups and major multinationals and published books in all genres from scholarly to childrens to religious, as well as an award-winning list in fiction in translation when he was Director at Northwestern University Press. He is also the author of Encyclopedia Idiotica: History’s Worst Decisions and the People Who Made Them. He has been at Ingenta for the last thirteen years in project implementation, product design and business development and is spearheading the development of Ingenta’s new product, Ingenta ConChord, designed specifically for the music industry to handle contracts, rights and royalties.
