A longtime pioneer of digital media and the entertainment industry, Robert Tercek is also well-known for his public speaking and writing about the ceaseless impact of technology on society. He is the author of “Vaporized: Solid Strategies for Success in a Dematerialized Society”, which was selected as the 2016 International Book of the Year by the editors of GetAbstract. Formerly SVP Digital Media at Sony Pictures Entertainment, Creative Director at MTV, and President of Digital Media at OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network, today Tercek leads a strategic advisory firm for startup ventures and launch projects. Tercek is the Special Advisor for Digital Identity at GS1 US, and an advisor to the Carson Center for Emerging Media Art at the University of Nebraska. He previously spent nine years on the faculty of USC School of Cinema-Television and as the founding Chairman of the Game Developer Conference mobile symposium.
