RON WHEELER currently serves as Managing Director of the ATSC 3.0 Security Authority (A3SA), a joint venture formed to develop a multi-industry content/signal security regime for ATSC 3.0 DTV broadcast content. He also serves as SVP, Rights Holder Relations & Strategic Projects for the Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC). Previous roles include service as Senior Vice President, Content Protection and Technology Strategy for Twentieth Century Fox, and service as Senior Vice President, Content Protection, for Fox Entertainment Group. He currently serves as Vice-Chair of the International Copyright Treaties and Laws Committee of, and Special Advisor to, the ABA’s Intellectual Property Law Section’s Copyright Division. He earned his J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of Minnesota Law School, and his B.A. from Yale University.
