Sam Estes is Co-Founder and Director of Music Production at Amper Music, Inc. Founded in 2014, Amper Music combines the highest levels of artistry with groundbreaking technology to empower anyone to create unique, professional music, instantly. Sam has a Master’s Degree in Music Composition in Technologies from the University of Colorado, Boulder. Sam has worked in multiple capacities within Film/TV/Video Game Music. He began his career with Tom Holkenborg (JunkieXL) with work ranging from Sound Design, Composition, and Orchestration. Sam took a position of Sample Designer and Manager, for Hans Zimmer at Remote Control Productions, followed by managing production at Cinesamples, and Sound Design for Hollywood Scoring for many film projects and video games. Sam has designed instruments and musical sound design for films such as: Sherlock Holmes, Inception, Dark Knight Rises, Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, Inside Out, Mad Max, along with sound design for games such as: League of Legends, Modern Warfare 2, Crysis 2, Spryo.
