Shara Senderoff is Partner/President of music/technology investment fund, Raised In Space. Named as one of Forbes’ “30 under 30,” Rolling Stone’s “Future 25,” Billboard’s esteemed “Women in Music” and Fast Company’s “100 Most Creative People in Business,” Senderoff is joined by industry giants – Zach Katz, Scooter Braun’s Ithaca Holdings and RippleX – in a mission to raise the value of music through investing in and strategically advising the next generation of transformational tech companies. Known for her visionary strategy and foresight, Senderoff advises music’s elite on navigating uncharted territory and redefining the industry’s relationship with technology.
Senderoff also founded management and creative engine, Something Gold, which manages and develops talent in music and beyond (artists, songwriters, producers) and advises both C-level execs and startups in creative, strategy, finance and operational execution. Some of her clients have included Atlantic Records, Spotify, Wunderman, L’Oreal and more.
With a passion for film and TV, Senderoff began her career as an apprentice for mogul producers Scott Rudin (The Social Network), Dan Jinks & Bruce Cohen (American Beauty) and Kevin Bright (Friends), before ultimately climbing the ranks to Vice President of Film and Digital at The Mark Gordon Company (Grey’s Anatomy, Saving Private Ryan). There Senderoff developed a slate of 20+ feature films with Universal, DreamWorks, 20th Century Fox, Sony, Paramount and more. In 2009, Senderoff spearheaded Mark Gordon’s first-ever digital department to develop new properties with cross platform capabilities and led the prolific company into the future of content development.
Through this digital/startup incubator, Senderoff founded startup Career Sushi (formerly Intern Sushi), an innovative platform that hosted tens of thousands of hiring companies and 500,000+ internship and job candidates.
