Peter Letz is an Agent in the Digital Media department at leading entertainment and sports agency Creative Artists Agency (CAA). Letz is based in the Los Angeles office and represents many of the world’s
leading gaming talent, personalities, and influencers across YouTube, Twitch, and Facebook, including Dr. Disrespect, Jacksepticeye, Game Grumps, Krew (fka Itsfunneh), Nick Eh 30, Alpharad, StoneMountain64, The Completionist, and James “Dash” Patterson, among
others. Letz’s roster of clients has accumulated more than 100 million collective social media followers and subscribers.
Since joining CAA in 2018, Letz has not only worked to secure tentpole deals in gaming clients’ core business areas of endorsements, esports, and platforms partnerships, but has also worked to expand talent into new revenue streams and verticals, working to push gaming talent across pop-culture and build out multi-media businesses.
In collaboration with CAA colleagues across various departments, some examples of this work include Dr. Disrespect’s national bestselling memoir with Simon and Schuster, Doc’s first-of-its-kind integration into Rogue Company with his own playable map, Krew’s mobile game with BBTV Interactive that charted on launch as the No. 1 free game on iPad, Jirard Kahlil’s (The Completionist) partnership with G4, and packaging Twitch’s hit original gameshow Hivemind.
Other recent notable deals out of the CAA digital gaming group include long-term celebrity endorsement partnerships with non-endemic brands for Dr. Disrespect with Pepsi and Fan Duel, Ninja with Takis, Erin Ashley Simon with Puma, and Nick Eh 30 with Bose. The group has also closed a series of long-term streaming platform partnerships, including those for StoneMountain64 and Nick Eh 30 and other major deals including Arif Zahir’s casting as the new voice of Cleveland Brown on Family Guy.
Letz began his career at RKO Pictures and later founded Cousin Pete Productions and Management, where he represented a diverse roster of television and film writers, as well as directors. He has also produced a number of film and television projects including the documentary special Girl Got Game for the CW, which was a feature on CLG Red, an all-female esports team. Just prior to CAA, Letz built the gaming vertical at digital media company Studio71, where among other projects, he brokered the deal to turn classic indie videogame BINDING OF ISAAC into a hit tabletop game.
