Michael Gold has been working in the 3D space since 2015, with AR / VR productions featured at Sundance, SXSW, and Lincoln Center.

He teaches graduate courses in technical direction and AI at the School of Visual Arts, and is the cofounder of Shaderverse, a platform that helps game developers improve the efficiency of their 3D rendering pipeline.

Previously, Michael has founded numerous ventures in the frontier tech space, led spinoffs for NYU’s AR / VR research lab as the Entrepreneur in Residence, and served as a technical director for brands including HBO, Target, and Starbucks.
