Richard currently serves as Senior Vice President, Global Strategic Initiatives at CJ E&M America, the US arm of CJ E&M, a diversified media group based in Seoul, Korea. In this role he focuses on identifying and developing opportunities for CJ E&M to expand its business outside Korea through key corporate partnerships, investments, and acquisitions.

Prior to his current role, Richard led international corporate development at CJ E&M’s home base in Seoul, Korea.

Based in Los Angeles with his wife and two children, Richard still considers Toronto home, where he began his career as an attorney after earning a BS from the University of Toronto and a JD from Osgoode Hall Law School.
