Ben Samuels
Ben Samuels joined MelodyVR as their President & GM, North America in May 2017. He came across from Bkstg, the fan engagement app backed by Scooter Braun Projects and LiveNation, where he was SVP of Business Development and Artist Revenue. He began his career at ICM followed by stints at Paramount Pictures and Scooter Braun Projects before entering the tech world with Bkstg.
MelodyVR was created to bring artists and music fans closer than ever before. Using VR, as well as other emerging technologies, Melody intends to revolutionize music entertainment and serve as the destination for music in virtual reality. Ben oversees MelodyVR’s U.S. operations as well as artist and label relations within North America.
Having signed first of their kind agreements with Warner Music Group, Universal Music Group, Sony Music Entertainment, Roc Nation, and Microsoft Corporation over the past 18 months; the company has also worked with hundreds of artists to create the worlds largest library of interactive music experiences.
Ben received his BBA from The George Washington University and lives in Los Angeles, CA.
