Jackie Subeck

CEO,
Hey Jackpot!, Door Number Six
Based in West Hollywood, CA and with an extensive background and expertise in three uniquely
connected industries - Music, China and Cannabis – Jackie Subeck has had the great fortune to
enjoy an exciting career journey around the globe, constantly challenged to expand her vision and always think out of the box.

In 2018, Jackie and her founders team at Door Number Six applied for the inaugural cannabis
business licenses in West Hollywood and with great fortune, received one of the 36 coveted retail and consumption licenses issued by the City. The company plans to build out the project
throughout 2019 and plans to open later this year.

In early 2014, she entered the cannabis industry and quickly took on the role as Vice Chair of
Women Grow Los Angeles, developing and producing one of the most successful cannabis B2B
networking events in the LA area. Soon after, she founded Hey Jackpot, a lifestyle cannabis brand that focused on business consulting, live events and cannabis advocacy. Jackie is a passionate advocate, having worked on the Prop 64 Adult Use of Marijuana Act campaign in California as well as logging in countless hours with the State’s Bureau of Cannabis Control on licensing and regulations and was one of the lead advocates who focused on furthering the policy for the State’s cannabis event license. As 2017 approached and the conversation was turning to local, Jackie shifted her focus serving as a key stakeholder to the City of West Hollywood to help them craft their cannabis ordinance with a particular focus on creating policy for cannabis consumption lounges, a historic, first of their kind in the US.

Prior to engaging in the cannabis industry, Jackie spent her time as founder and CEO of Footprint Worldwide, a China-centric entertainment marketing, branding, and production company based in Los Angeles and Beijing. With achievements spanning across the globe including 30 years in the music industry and 13 years in China, Jackie concluded her journey in China by serving as Music and Post Production consultant to DreamWorks Animation in Shanghai. Throughout her career, she has produced hundreds of projects and combined forces with high profile talent including Madonna, Linkin Park, Quincy Jones, ESPN’s X Games, the NBA and eight time Grammy winners, The Manhattan Transfer.

Jackie is a member of NCIA, the National Cannabis Industry Association as well the Drug Policy
Alliance. She also sits on the Governing Affairs Committee for the West Hollywood Chamber of
Commerce where she helps advocate for progressive policy as well as the Cannabis Sub-
Committee. She was educated at University of California Santa Barbara and regularly volunteers
her time to advocacy, campaigns, education, policy, and philanthropic organizations spanning from entertainment to marriage equality to cannabis.
