Håkan Andersson
Håkan Andersson is Head of Technology Strategy and
responsible for driving the overall technology strategies of
Ericsson. Prior to that he has been engaged in several industry
alliances representing new opportunities and verticals planning
to use 5G for their future business and operations. Håkan
Andersson has also been a key driver in formulating Ericsson’s
overall 5G strategy at the Business Unit for Network Products.
From 2003 and in the work leading up to the development and launch of 4G/LTE, he was responsible for the development of the strategies and investment plans leading up to the establishment of a dedicated product line for LTE in 2007.
Håkan Andersson started in Ericsson Radio Research in 1990, and has since then held various positions both in Research and Technology, as well as Product Management, in different parts of the world. His career includes positions as head of Technology for Ericsson Philippines, Head of Industry Relations in Singapore, Director at Group Function Portfolio Management, and CTO of the Ericsson account towards AT&T in the US.
Andersson Holds a Master´s degree in Electrical Engineering and a Doctors degree in Physics, both from the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, Sweden.
