Nanxi Liu is the Co-CEO and Co-Founder of Blaze Technology, one of the fastest
growing AI-driven platforms that enables teams to build software and web applications
without writing code. She was named Forbes 30 Under 30 and Fortune’s Most Promising
Women Entrepreneurs. Previously, Nanxi was CEO and Founder of Enplug, one of the
largest global digital signage software companies that she led from startup to its
successful acquisition.
Nanxi serves on the Board of Directors of CarParts.com (NASDAQ: PRTS), a leading ecommerce auto aftermarket parts company, and on the Board of Directors of Grupo Proeza, one of the largest private conglomerates in Mexico. Previously, she served on the board of Kindred Biosciences (NASDAQ: KIN), which was acquired by Elanco (NYSE: ELAN). She also served on the board of CarLotz (NASDAQ: LOTZ), which merged with Shift Technologies (NASDAQ: SFT). Appointed by California’s Speaker of the Assembly, Nanxi served as 1 of 5 voting members of the California DMV’s New Motor Vehicle Board.
In college, Nanxi co-founded and served as CEO of Nanoly Bioscience, a venture-backed biotech company that invented polymers that eliminate refrigeration for vaccines. Nanoly received the Top Research award at the World Biomaterials Congress and the technology has been published in the prestigious Science journal. Outside of work, Nanxi won an Emmy as producer of the Amazon television show, The Bay. Passionate about giving back to the community, Nanxi serves on the Board of Directors for the National Foster Youth Institute and the Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation. Nanxi is a Partner at XFactor Ventures, a venture capital firm that has invested in 90+ women-founded startups. Nanxi has performed piano live on NBC and ABC, is an avid reader, and enjoy playing tennis, basketball, running, and snowboarding. Nanxi graduated with a BS and BA from UC Berkeley, where she was elected Vice President of the student body and received UC Berkeley’s Leadership Award.
