Gayle started her career in television, working for National Geographic, A&E Networks, and Channel 4 Television in the UK. Upon her return to the U.S., she settled in Los Angeles and launched RDF's U.S. office, before joining Original Productions as an Executive Producer and Showrunner. She oversaw series such as Ice Road Truckers (History Channel), America’s Lost Treasures (National Geographic) and Swords, Life on the Line (Discovery Channel). As online video grew, she began to produce branded and original content for emerging platforms. In 2013 she moved to Fremantle Media to launch Tiny Riot, a digital content studio where she served as the EVP and General Manager for 2 years. While there, she partnered with VICE Media to launch their food vertical, MUNCHIES, creating series such as Bong Appetit and Fuel, as well as working with Stylehaul do create their first creator series, The Crew. At the end of 2015, she stepped out to launch Ripple Entertainment, in partnership with Red Arrow Studios Ripple’s SNARLED network, and the hit series, Something Scary, has accumulated 200M views across their branded platforms.
Gayle has received numerous awards, including an Academy Award nomination, The Farm: Angola, USA The film follows the lives of 5 prisoners inside America’s old prison, and a former slave plantation, in Angola Louisiana.
That film also won the Grand Jury Prize, Sundance Film Festival, The Farm: Angola, USA and was nominated for a
Primetime Emmy Nominee, Outstanding Non-Fiction Special, The Farm
Daytime Emmy Award nomination, Outstanding Children’s Series,
