Caroline Burruss is a vice president for the Global Partnerships division of Anschutz Entertainment Group, Inc. (“AEG”), the largest sports and entertainment company in the world. AEG Global Partnerships oversees worldwide sponsorship, licensing, and broadcast sales, servicing and activation for over 120 world-class venues across five continents and numerous other assets including sports franchises, events, tours, festivals and digital content among other AEG holdings.
In her role, Burruss will be responsible for driving sponsorship sales for concert tours, festivals, venues and other assets of AEG Live and its various subsidiaries, including Goldenvoice. As a vice president for one of the world's largest producers and promoters of live music, Burruss will concentrate on incorporating best-in-class brand partners across AEG Live/Goldenvoice’s music properties, including the world-renowned Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, Stagecoach-California’s Country Music Festival, the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival, and the new Panorama festival, which launched earlier this summer in New York, among others.
With more than 20 year’s experience, Burruss has spent her career leveraging high-quality fan experiences and content to build long-lasting lifestyle and music communities. Previously, she was vice president of national media and sponsorship at Live Nation Entertainment. There she was responsible for sponsorship and media sales, credited for bringing in multi-million dollar partnership agreements. Additionally, she worked across festivals, music venues, streaming content, branded entertainment, and research and analytics as well as brought in key clients such as Toyota, Hulu, and Tito’s Handmade Vodka.
Prior to Live Nation Entertainment, Burruss worked with Austin City Limits Live as co-general manager/vice president of brand development. There she led all revenue around sponsorship, premium seating sales as well as content distribution for the festival’s state-of-the-art music venue and 3D/4K broadcast studio.
Throughout her time spent in the music industry, Burruss has honed in on using best-in-class brand integration at live events to amplify the fan experience. She began her career in music marketing, co-founding the company Revolution Promotion Management and holds a degree in political science and journalism from the University of Georgia.
